More things green

Getting a little behind on my picture taking and blog posting. I've made more headway on getting minis ready and looking to score a few more here soon. I had a good lot of my blood bowl minis on a table after priming, and was wowed by how many I've amassed!

Below I have some pics of my first venture into customizing Blood Bowl minis from Warhammer products. The plastic Warhammer kits take a bit more work due to assembly and filing requirements. The filing is especially dreadful as it's easy to slip while filing the plastic and wipe out some of the fine detail on those pieces.

Anyways, the major change was adding a shoulder pad and belt attachment to the ogre with some green stuff. It turned out okay for my first time. I'm considering adding a helmet to him later.

I've also been working on a Dwarven Deathroller. I'm waiting to get farther along on that one before showing the pics.

Ogre gets shoulder pad

A little rough, but not bad for my first time

Strap attaches to back of belt

"And now for my pretty side!"

Now appearing on a Human team near you!

Island of Blood Rat Ogre, whatever that means!

Felt like I was getting in the groove with the fur detail on the back.

Added a club like tip to his tail for fun.
